Quite a few years ago he was doing tech on just carbs. We were in line and had our car # and class on the carb. He looked at it and measured it and said "that carb is undersize". I said, yes I know. He had just picked it up and my partner reached out and took it out of his hands and said "Then it's Legal" and walked away with the carb. I just stood there dumbfounded and he shrugged and said, yep it is.. back at the car I ask my buddy if he knew who the Carb tech guy was that he took the carb from.., He shrugged and said he didn't care. Guess it was my lucky day.
