If we left them in that condition, we could rest assured that within a couple days we would be sending someone else back to work on them because as dust, grime, soot got over the eyes lens a little, we would start getting missed counts, or missed whatever's ...

^^^ this. I had trouble with settings these at Speedworld in Az. It would take awhile to get a bright red light and stay steady. We would rebuild them and some still would not come in right.
