I think it's interesting that there is a '74 N/S Lemans on the list. I've never even seen or heard of a '74 Lemans stick car, street or strip. Not familiar with the driver name.

2 GTOs hold down O/SA. Jack Matyas drove one & Larry Maxwell drove the other. Thru the years, the '74 GTO has always run strong in whatever class they were in.

But, they are not near as competitive as they once were, because of the high hp factor given them by NHRA. As Bill Rink has posted in this thread, most of that extra hp was his fault. LOL ! The '74 350 has a higher hp factor than many of the low CR 400 Pontiac engines. Therefore, the '74 Pontiac 350 is no longer a good choice for someone wanting to race a Pontiac powered Stocker.
