I know people who are Drag race fans who watch all the cable TV coverage for these races. Advertisers don't want to hear you killed TV time to give everyone qualifying runs in my opinion.
. Nascar for years would change their practice and qualifying schedule because of rain. Sometimes lining a field up by points with no track time. These are professional teams. They need to have there program together on what little time they get to qualify.

I agree that the teams should be ready to race, but giving them one shot at the track is no way to treat them. What is Nascar's biggest race? The Daytona 500? They have speedweeks, pole qualifying, qualifying races, , and practice sessions, etc. Maybe NHRA needs to put a little more effort and leave some room on both ends of the schedule for necessary changes.
