If you don't plan on running a cooler, remove the cooler bypass valve. If you do run a cooler you need to have it in place to get cooler flow, if you make it non functional, make sure to keep the flow restriction down (big cooler, big lines) so the converter pressure doesn't get to high. The .460 boost valve is the smallest of three, bigger boost valve, more pressure. Depending on what spring you used, the .460 valve might be more than enough.
