That has always been a very nice family !
They are from the Shreveport area, less than 100 miles from me. Back in the '70's, we made a few Stock races at the Hallsville TX track, where they raced some. TJ even won a race one week, when they were gone to a div points race.
Greg's Dad, Howard, was a real nice guy. He never failed to come by our pit, say hi, & ask how our cars were running, even after we started running bracket.
I think Mr. Howard was still driving back then. Greg may have already started driving some. We can't remember, for sure. That was a long time ago. But, we still remember Howard Stanfield & how nice & friendly he was.
