Ballad of Easy Rider is the eighth album by the American rock group, The Byrds, and was released in October, 1969.

The album is notable for being the second and final album to feature the band line-up of Roger McGuinn, Clarence White, Gene Parsons and John York. The album also featured John York's composition, "Fido", a song written about a stray dog that the bass player encountered in a Kansas City hotel room.
