Often overlooked as one of the founding fathers of R&R, due to his short life, is Eddie Cochran.. At about 1:50 in this clip, he can be seen looking to the heavens in tribute to his good friends ,Richie Valens and Buddy Holly.. He was an inspiration to thousands of young and up coming musicians . One being Brian Setzer, who played him in the Valens movie.

This video is a song written by Glendale ,Az's own Marty Robbins, features Bob Weir and Bobby Cochran, nephew of Eddie. Pretty sure where he got his chops from ;-)
