Cool Re: Live from Cecil County,MD - NHRA Lucas Oil Series

Evening gang- It turned out to be a long day -by the time the clouds and mist left the track it was way past 2:00 and even then they had to try and get the track to hook which took awhile but when it finally did it produce some great 60' times. All that and when the Sun finally appeared it got to temps in the mid-eighties.

The DA most of the afternoon and evening were in the 27 to 3100' range so ET's were not record setting stuff but not bad .One run that stood out to me was done by Bob Broadbent in his A/S '69 Camaro - 9.96 with big MPH .

There is still plenty of premium pit space left as the turnout as of this evening is anything but full for sure - looks like it will have some low car counts in some classes .Sign of the times???? It's anybody's guess at this point .

Took some pics today but dinner is ready -- maybe later .
