My father took me to my first drag race 4th of July weekend 1969 or '70 at Connecticut Dragway to see a funny car show that featured "Jungle" Jim Liberman and "Miss STP" Paula Murphy and many others. There were also many Stock and Super Stocks that day and it was awesome.
Alas there are no scheduled events this weekend. How do guys feel about that?

I’ll look at Redding and Sacramento schedules for brackets/testing but I don’t think they are running. Pretty sad state..
