The past few years racers have been getting "in line" on Rooney Road in front of the track on Wednesday and waiting until Thursday morning to get into the track to wait to pit. Most waiting on Rooney Road are staying in their rigs. This might be an option for you. I agree with Jim, avoid taking your open trailer to a hotel parking lot. Hope this helps.
