Also , almost any V8 combo is going to get the o/p involved in heads up runs, which he is trying to avoid for now. ;-)
Ahh yes, 4 & 6 cyl. classes not heavily populated.

Wonder if there's something the guy could rent that would run the number so he could get his feet wet?
