Why?
The machine shop I use just took a stock, crate motor 6.1L 425HP Hemi (SRT8 engine). Changed to bigger injectors, re-curve ignition, re-calibrate fuel. With stock exhaust manifolds (no cat's) and all accessories, made 550 HP. A modified induction version (had 8 throttle bodies like an old short-stack Hilborne) made 600 HP. I imagine this 392 Hemi should be somewhat better...
