Back in 2011 I bought Merrill’s 82 Chevy ramp truck. I flew to Lake Mary to pick it up and Merrill gave me the full tour, showing me his corvettes and his SS454 chevelle. I really was impressed with him. Quite a guy. The truck was like everything else Merrill owned. Immaculate. We kept in touch for several years and he was always asking about his old ramp truck. He loved that old truck and I always figured he would eventually try and buy it back. I still have that truck and we still use it to haul our race car.
Godspeed Merrill. You will be missed.
