Global Warming is climate, Weather is something totally different. Weather refers to short term atmospheric conditions while Climate is the weather of a specific region averaged over a long period of time. Climate change refers to long-term changes.
I've lived here for 66 years. In my youth mom and dad gave us ice skates and snow sleds for Christmas. The ponds froze over months at a time and kids LIVED on them..Now we get little spurts of bad weather. It will be cold and in a flash it will be gone. It's gonna be in the 40's here middle of next week, but it's cold as blue balls right now. It didn't used to be like that. All our Blue Spruce Christmas trees died from too wet a climate. We had 10 that lined our driveway. They all died, with the eventual death of all in the Ohio region. The tree gets "needle drop" where the top 1/4 of the tree turns brown and drops its needles. In a year or two their dead. within a few years all in this State will be dead.In the 50'and 60's the Blue Spruce was the Christmas tree of choice as artificial trees were not popular, or even invented. Millions were planted after being used for Christmas decorations. These trees were originally brought over here (Ohio) from the lower Colorado mountain ranges as those two climates at the time were very similar. Now, its entirely too wet,and too humid for them to survive. Earth's climate has always been'a changin. The issue is what has always taken thousands of years to change has somehow changed in 50. And in another 50 good luck ! We'll all be gone by then so our grandkids will be the ones to sort it out. What caused all this is up for discussions and arguments, but what is happening is not.
