Every time something like this happens or potentially happens, it needs to be posted. As previously mentioned some of us have been communicating in regards to these issues and the guilty people need to become public knowledge. The majority of the time it happens in response to a "Wanted" posting and the organizing of payment is generally not a common method.
A method of prevention is to research the responder. Speak to the individual over the phone, get to know him and establish a trust baseline, if you can't walk away from the deal. Pictures are also imperative, if the pictures sent are off a Google Search that is also a Red Flag. Most items that are "Wanted" on this site are pretty specific. The responder should have a good reason of why he has what you are requesting, as well as a solid description of the component(s).
Awareness and Aggressive Prevention will hopefully discourage the False Acts of the Unfavourable of Society, sneaking into this site.
