And now for some bad news. A Top Dragster flipped and went down next to the wall. Don’t know the condition of the driver but he is still with us. We had a Super Street car crash and the driver exited the car under his own power. All of this is what we heard in the pits. On a lesser level John Calvert’s Cobra Jet came loose in the trailer on the trip and made the right rear quarter panel used up. But with a few sheet metal screws it was good enough to race. It’s not bad news to most of us but Rusty Hall is driving a 135 Cobra Jet this weekend in Stock, and he’s done a lot of winning in those cars.

And the good news is it’s another great day of racing at best track in America
