Wink Re: Norwalk track news

"All females admitted free on Saturday May 17" That may be great marketing,,,but its certainly nothing new. In the 70s Seattle International Raceway was famous for its annual "Fox Hunt". This was in the days when the stands would fill for the most part anyway, but on this day the place would go nuts! All women in for free,, a rock band would show up in the evening, some guy on a motorcycle would jump over old cars, and besides the regular racers there would be jet cars or some booked in match races. As the day wore on and the beer flowed and that "funny smelling" stuff filled the air, the party got wilder. We saw alot of "crowd management" going on and I don't need to tell you there was NO shortage of "foxes" all over the place.
I know many other tracks had similar programs, not just the west coast ones.
So go ahead to this one and have a ball,,,,dang I wish I was 25 again!
