Hi Glenn,,you do a contingency sheet either after a Class win or Divisional. NHRA then turns that into the companies contingency that will or supposed to pay for using their product and displaying their decals. The company will get in contact with you,some time before M the end of the year giving you instructions on what you need to do to collect. A W-9 is always first and some have an advertising release form you must fill out and sign. Some won't pay and some will pay real quick. Summit Racing pays real fast and requires no proof of using their catalog. Lucas paid quick a year ago. Some,,we are still waiting to hear from them for 3 years now,of course 1 year is the limit.
The NHRA needs to change how contingency is collected and paid to winners,,ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE POSTED AS PAYING CONTINGENCY TO CLASS,DIVISIONAL AND NATIONAL WINNERS!!
