If you think NHRA made an error ask you division Tech director to check on it. The class will change only with the HP on the OEM heads. With approved after market heads just the weight is adjusted up or down. Try doing the math yourself and see if you get the same result.
Check and see if the Camaro, same platform, and year model received the same treatment.
