It's funny (but logical) that the most racer-centric tracks I can remember were Earlville and No Problem. At the time I was there, both owned and operated by racers.

I know Mr Hill had a problem with track prep at Earlville one year, but that's the only complaint I've ever heard or seen.

It's easier and easier to take shots at the NHRA these days, but one would think an organization founded on "by racers for racers" would have specifications for what tracks must do for their customers written right into the contract.
"By the racers for the racers" died with Wally Parks and the retirement of Steve Gibbs!

The current management is concerned with Entry fees and sponsor moneys and big time pay checks... The racer is just kind of a necessary inconvinence!
