At the recent Division 4 race here is Tulsa I saw members of the local crew working but don't know if they were on the NHRA payroll or not.

Local tracks making any money off divisional races has been a problem for a long time except for Norwalk.
Maybe more! If you look at the Las Vegas divisional, parking and credentials start on Wednesday along with test n tune. Racing from Thursday to Sunday. That’s 5 days of track time and employees for a division race. I remember showing up Sat. morning for tech and time trials race on Sun. and go home. Good thing I’m retired and can spend 5 days at a division race.
