Jerry Emmons is a great racer and equally good and decent guy, but is also one of the most highly scrutinized finish line drivers in the sport. If you look back, you'll see he was also penalized for excessive braking in 2023, and for two instances in 2022. His driving style draws extra attention, fairly or not.
