I wonder what the ET record would be if they didn't slow down the fuel cars with gear reductions, limitations, blower drives, etc. If someone would build a track that could handle the high speeds with a long shutdown area. I'm talking about no limitations or restrictions.

I remember the nitrous oxide cars were going over 300 back in the '90's I believe, before they got outlawed.

Put up a purse of say 1 million to see who is the quickest.

Surely they would be in the high 2's.
