Default Re: And you thought air/ electrical shifters in stockers was

Except it is there, and there is zero performance advantage. You have no need to ask when it is specified right there as allowed with minimal restrictions. Behind the leading edge of the body or bumper and 3" off the ground..."beam breaker" is specifically spelled out...See General Regulations 4.5

Done arguing, so many have the additions, the few that do not are here, the rest are silent because they have used them for years. I am just fairly 1 yr. now new to the use. I will switch it to a Tow hook. It will be more useful and a bit less controversial.

Most allofem have those in 1 fashion or another. It takes very little to break that 6" high finish line beam and we all do so each pass to the end we achieve 1320' runs. Some are just using 13" rims. My combo came with 14's (I use M.T. 20" tall X 14" X 6" wide FWD slicks, less than a 6" X 5" contact patch at 35.5 psi and a 2" tall sidewall at that pressure, and gives small tire a new meaning), and that (using a smaller than stock sized rim), is spelled out do not do.
