Re: Anyone withdrawing from STK/US Nats
Ty Mr. Bongiovanni, and I hope everything is OK with you, the family, the car, and everything else in your life, and it was just situational. I do appreciate the early rather than later withdraw so safe travel planning on my end could take place and I can now travel at a relaxed pace. Leaving in the am for another 37 day racing/ camping trip (did miss the Bowling Green race, but that had more to do with it was a hasty look at what may be possible vs what was prudent and reasonable.
And I had stored the car safely away in Vegas not expecting to access it until the Bakersfield double, and the one with keys was out of state. My fault, not his...Leaving in the AM Indy "Big Go" (please dear lord let that weather forecast be correct, and the same temps/winds I left behind in Seattle), bound, then VA, SC, OK, CA and Vegas again, PHX D7 Finals, Vegas and CA.
As sit here not loading any active fuel cans into the truck till after dark (111 degrees outside here now), this oven we live in is bad.
Don Kennedy I am thinking about you brother....RIP.
