YIKES...HELP...have a RACEQUIP helmet...maybe 3-4 years old...well within 10 year accepted Snell specs/sticker accepted by NHRA/IHRA...competition...one of chin straps is frayed somewhat rubbing on the Hans device...needing replacement...am being told...that although Racequip is currently under guise of Simpson...there are have/offer NO services for Racequip product (!)...supposedly because pricing (when sold new ) is too low (!) to offer such...say it ain't so...'eh stymie...the Snell rating is same as the "higher" price helmet...any one have a thought/idea...??? much appreciate...
