Okay,let's see. If it's a natural 20# car,that's 155 (hp) x 20= 3100 + 170= 3270#

To run H, which it can't (I assume you can drop only one class in IHRA) it would be:
155 x 27.5 = 4266 + 170= 4436

Assuming as a street would be considerably over the shipping weight,he still would have to add 6 to 8 hundred lbs. to get to the legal H weight which he can't run anyway.

Don't they weigh cars at an IHRA points meet ? Or did he make up a weight figure, as well as a class?

This guy was qualified under the index ,meaning he could have taken someone out that was in the World points chase. Not funny at all.

Anyway ,my point is that you can't take a FWD car off the street and run .5 under to win class at Indy.
