I visited the ST Catherines assembly plant in Canada where they built the Camaro/Firebird. They all come out of the same plant, just different fenders interior and trim work. It would add to the success of production, not take away. That plant was capable of 1000 cars a day, and they were only selling about 300-400 a day. Maybe they should make a Saturn, Buick, Cadillac, and Tunnel Port RA-V version, too.
Remember the original LS-1 was the 1969 Pontiac 400 RA-IV, and the LS-2 was the 455HO. Funny how those newer engines more closely follow the Pontiac design.
