Dick,

Pontiacs dont have HP peaks, they have HP plateaus

. Stacy's motor varies 5HP across about 1000 RPM and so does mine. I recently bumped my HP up about 400RPM, but I am slow to loosen the converter. That converter was for a peak torque of 5000RPM and peak HP of 6200. I will do it probably 100RPM at a time.
