Stocker Slicks... Screws ? Tubes ?
Been a while, guys...
I'm just in the process of FINALLY reassembling my car...
using ALL the proper parts that I was told to use[:-whoo2-:]
I have a new set of 15 X 10 American Racing Trackstars, with new M/T stick compound 29.5 X 9's.
My previous experience showed me that my heavy car likes to have around 14-15 pounds in the tires ( that was a 9 tire on an 8 rim ).
I'm told that the slghtly wider wheel allows ( requires ) more tire pressure in order to keep it flat. The fringe benefit being less rolling resistance... better speed.
Ok.... I bought it[:-stong-:]
My questions are...
If I'm going to end up at 15-16 pounds,
Do I need screws ?
Can I run them tubeless ? ( they've been mounted, with 14 pounds in them for the past 3 months... never lost a pound ).
