Using screws is a personal preference, some do some don't, I have always used them. I drill & tap the rim for 1/4-20 cap screws that are sharpened to the right length, I also drill into the tire bead so the screw doesn't push the tire away from the rim. As stated above, soap the inside of the tire. 15lbs seems alot for a stick car I would start with 12 or 13 lbs, I run 10 to 11 depending on the track. Also, radials don't work on stick cars.
