Bailey "FINISHED" my ring & pinion (4.86 Richmond set). I'll let y'all know if this one ever gives out. The last ring & pinion I had in the car only lasted 1 year (which granted, is several hundred runs for me).
On the performance end of things, at the beginning of the season, I ran 6.88 @ 98 mph at Piedmont in mineshaft conditions. I'll have to look it up, but I think it was a 1.41-1.42 range 60'. That was all with the standard 4.86.
I just got back from another mineshaft day at Piedmont - pretty similar conditions. With the FINISHED gears, I ran my career best with my H/CM Volare, 6.757 @ 99.33 mph, with a 1.376 60'.
