I have never done aftermarket brakes on a stock rear suspension car, only 4-link type cars and dragsters, but I will throw a few things out to you........I am assuming you have called Aerospace and they said "your the first person thats ever had a problem........", not beening familar with staggered shocks, can you move everything from one side to the other and not have the same problem? If it can be done, remember the bleeder valve must be on top of the caliper. I am sure you know that but I have seen it on other so called long time racers race cars. Now if you can, some schools of theory on calipers in front or back of axle; I have personally run calipers on a dragster with both set-ups and never had a problem. The front brakes do 75 to 80% of the stopping power, so as long as the rear brakes are done correctly, there should not be a problem. IF the answer to swapping sides is no............... how close is the brake line fitting? Are you running the line in the factory location? Can the shock be spaced away from the caliper? Is it close due to an aftermarket traction device (bar just sounds way too old school)? Can a new bracket be made to move caliper down? can the bracket be modified with offset inserts in the brackets? (sim. to advance/retard bushings in timing chain sprocket) I'm sure there are more answers to this question, I am actually interested myself. STOCKERS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick.
