Default Re: Hoosier C30 Compound

Start with the Hoosiers C30 compound I ran on Feb 16 & 17; the DA was 2500' - 2700'. I only picked the 3 last 60's because that's where I settled in on no changes to the shocks/suspension. These were done in the same lane with careful shallow staging.

1.313

This past weekend with the M/T PBR's Feb 23rd; the DA was 26xx' for both runs. This was the same set-up as with the Hoosiers & the same lane as above with careful shallow staging.

1.335

Both tires were run with 20 lbs. air. The M/T's are mounted on 9" wide rims & the Hoosiers are on 10" wide rims. The same burnout was done for both.

My take on the Hoosier's are they're a very aggressive compound & I still need to work on the set-up to calm the wheelies down more.

As for the Mickey's, the Hoosier set-up was right for these tires; nice low trajectory 60' wheelie. I did make some fuel table changes at the launch rpm/coming off the 2 step. The 60' settled in at 1.34x for Sat. & Sun. I screwed up on the Sat. race, but did manage the semi-finals on Sun.
