We had 54 guests attend our 2022 banquet last night. We enjoyed a great meal, followed by some getting dessert, & then we gave out some nice hardware. All of our 2022 sponsors received an Appreciation plaque. A "Thank You" award was given Danny Waters Sr. for his dedication to CCRA-Carolina Class Racers Association & an "Above and Beyond" award was given to Avery McLawhorn for all his does for Leigh Anne Flynt & I! We had 4 specialty awards to give out that were voted on by our racers. Crew Chief of the Year was Terry Roland, Sportsman of the Year was Korey Alexander, Most Improved Racer of the Year was Dennis Pope, & Wrench of the Year was Robbie Draughon.

We then pulled 2 race entry raffle winners which covers these two winners to receive entry fee to all 12 CCRA races in 2023. The two lucky winners were Brandon White from Hillsville, VA & Dan Fletcher from Selma, NC. We look forward to having both of you guys racing with us in 2023! This was followed by awarding our Top 10 racers in points from last year with a plaque & cash. 2X back-to-back Champion, Raymond Roland, got his Eagle trophy, poster, cash, & his brand new Simpson Race Products Bandit helmet given by Redline Speed Shop & custom painted by Chad McCreary of Copperhead Graphics. This helmet is a masterpiece! We finished off the evening with everyone chatting & cutting up having a good time & as everyone got ready to head out, we told everyone we'd see them in March at Coastal Plains Raceway Park Dragway.
