The NHRA made a new rule for 2013 stating ONLY 2008 AND NEWER unmodified, factory cars can run as quick as 10.00 seconds and as fast as 134.99 mph with no rollbar or five point harness. These rules only apply for unaltered vehicles, so if you have slicks, aftermarket engine mods, a non-oem supercharger or turbo, nitrous, etc., you will still have to meet the current safety rules but if you have a 2008 and up, factory STOCK vehicle capable of running 10 seconds at 134 mph you do not need a rollbar.
