Default IHRA - Stock 62 Impala Automatic

For IHRA stock cars can a Powerglide be replaced with a TH350?

Just checked the 2016 IHRA rule book and for Stock under heading Transmission, Automatic: Any model transmission may be used having the same number of forward gears and reverse.

Jim, "generally speaking" IHRA rule follow NHRA rules [of course, with some exceptions]

Many NHRA stockers and super stockers run a 3-speed trans. I expect others will speak up.
