where to haul pit scooter

Racers,

After a years use and working with my 38 ft living quarter?s trailer, I am satisfied with the arrangement of most items and accessories.

I haul a 1970 Nova and related support items in the cargo area. The bathroom divides living area from cargo area.

However, one unresolved problem is what to do with the pit scooter. I have tried several locations throughout the trailer but have not hit on a happy solution.

My question, have any of you used a rack that mounts a scooter outside the trailer rear door? If so, what is your feedback?

This is a gooseneck hitch so mounting between truck and trailer is not an option. [If you want to turn, grin]

That might not be a bad idea, get one of those racks that slides into a hitch receiver, and weld a receiver to the trailer. ??

I understand your dilemma but 2 things come to mind here-- This is a minibike /moped type of vehicle right if so???--First your scooter is very susceptible to theft---Second your scooter is out in the weather all the time---Personally I think cuz of these 2 situations I would find a place to put it inside----Just my opinion but there has to be somewhere you can store it inside---Look a little harder!!!! We usually put ours at the very back of trailer .That way if you need it it is very easy to access. If needed all you have to do is drop door and un-strap and use .Plus it will not be seen by potential theives .Works for us / HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I have mine right in frount of the car...in fact i use one of the D-rings for the frount of the car. All i have to do is open the side door & their it is. Good Luck
