I was going to restore this car because it is in such good shape. Would also be a great starting point for Stock Eliminator car. I am on the east coast so this is a great way to get a CA car without shipping it from California. Ray
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...0667203270049/ I hate to admit it but I am selling my beautiful Chevelle. I bought it in Lincoln California. It has been stored in heated garages most years. It is a second week of February built Framingham car. Originally it was a Cortez silver. It has a black interior, bench seat. Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes. It does not have factory gauges. I do not have the build sheet or ProtectoPlate. This is the most rust free unrestored 69 Chevelle I have seen in my long life. All the factory undercoating is in place and is pristine. The truck does not have surface rust or pitting. The original splatter paint still pops! The floors don?t have rust at all on the top or bottom. The bottoms of the doors have no surface rust. The quarter panels don?t have rust. The SS hood is perfectly straight. There is a JA stamped 396, 325 HP block that was in the car when I bought it. It could be original. The block has a casting date in December and is rust free. There is no partial VIN on the pad or by the oil filter. The heads and intake have logical casting dates and were on the car when I bought it. These could be the original parts. There is nothing behind the engine (bellhousing, trans etc) but a cross member. The rear end is appropriately dated and looks original. It is a 3.31 open 12 bolt rear end. When I bought the car it had three dated YA dated (Jan 16) Super Sport wheels. I bought two more so that you have all five with the same date. Did you know that the original brake drums have casting dates? I did not. This has Jan 28 dated brake drums still on it!! The bad. There is a rust hole at the base of the rear window. One fender has a rust hole in the normal place. There is a shallow dent in the roof. I have a New York State registration in my name. I have the original master cylinder that I had a stainless steel sleeve installed new in the box.
