Question ??? about 1991 chevy suburban drivetrain

Have a chance to get the engine & trans out of a 91 suburban 78000 original miles body shot---Have not seen it do not know if its a 2 or 4 wheel drive vehicle 1/2 or 3/4 ton either---Lets assume it is a 1/2 and 2 wheel drive --it has a 350 inch engine with injection TBI right ???---Is the block a 2 or 4 bolt??---crank steel or cast??? is the injection set up worth anything-How about the heads???--Moving on to the trans is it a 350/400 or a 4L60 ??? All I really want is the shortblock is the other stuff worth anything or should I take a pass on it??? Probably will try to peddle it all off--- thanx Comp 387

The block could be two or four bolt, the only positive way to know is pull the pan. If it is four bolt, that is a desirable core worth about $175.00. The one piece seal blocks are fine, no reason not to run them.

Chances are, the crank is cast. However, that also is fine, no problem with running a cast crank. A stock cast crank is worth about $80.00

The heads have no special value except for a stock rebuild. Same for the throttle body injection.

The trans will be a four speed, again, no special value except for a stock rebuild. The trans core is worth about $150.00
