Winning Indy is something we all dream of; doing it requires a whole lot of luck and a
little skill and a good car. But what makes all this worth while are your racing friends.
Had I not won Indy I was still a winner because of all of you.

After reving me up (as you normally do) in the staging lanes late Sun. afternoon you said "the only thing good I got going for me is Buggs, her car and driver ain't worth a crap". Looks to me like all three were damn near perfect the rest of the race.

Congratulations on a real big win. Worner and you are giving the rest of us old farts hope.
