Just wanted to thank the many racers who called and offered places to stay, park and everything else. Houma, Louisiana was damaged badly. Still got some areas with no power, still boiling water, and fixing all the busted stuff. Need some really juicy gossip to get me going. Whats the word from Indy. Lifter angles in ss, teardowns, protests, tech? What's the word? Again I can't say enough about the racers who offered help. Kinda renews your faith in people and especially your fellow racers.

jeff for about 100 years you have helped everyone that needed help, supplied a cold beer whenever your cooler was close by and in general have been a freind to most every nhra racer alive...
why would it suprise you that MANY offered assistance to you when a little stormy weather came your way ?? jack mccarthy your always welcome at my place... and by the way you should have taken larry hill up on the whiskey tour in kentucky... it would rival the original swamp tour at pat's first sportsnats !!!!

Thanks folks. Dealership had 8 doors blown in, race car building 2 doors, many others damaged. Lost one big door at other dealership. Lost facia 100 x 8 with name and brand signs. It was laying on showroom until this morning. Finally got a crane and used our big wrecker to move it. But we are operating and looks like Ike is going to bless Corpus Christi instead of us. And of course there is always the good story. We moved the inventory from Houma (8' above sea level) to Thibodaux (20 ft above) because of a tidal surge of as much as 25 feet. Well, the surge was about 2.5 ft, and a huge tree fell across five cars in Thibodaux and totaled 4 of them. We are having a Dent & Scratch sale. Again, I really appreciate the kind words and actions.
