Sitting here recovering from by pass surgery mind starts to wander...Question I have is what would happen to quailfing performance numbers if number 1 got $1000.00 for effort. Would the concern for being 1.25=1.40 under go to the wind. Most racers would have to win the eliminator to make same amount of money. Why not be number 1 and get compensated for it, Awaiting your opinions. DD

Jim: Surgery went well 5 bypass, walking around the block here at home 1/4 mile at atime maybe this is an omen,,,Only real pain is where they removed vein in leg and some muscle discomfort not all bad.been warned by wife if i ring bell for her to come running one more time it will have to be removed by a qualified physican. If you know what i mean. I can tell you how happy I was waking up from surgery knowing hershey wsn't looking for me.....haha all for now DD

It was probably removed because of your relentless promoting of race events.

Ok bruce maybe this is ok .The way i see it is if someone put up a $1000.00 at a national or divison nhra would have to have a cut all im saying is that this would work at some of the diffrent assn. racers around the country bacause we don't charge them money to sponcer diffrent parts of each race like nhra i do not know if ihra charges there sponcers to help out with the races i know they do big sponcers but not sure about if someone want to do just #1 quilf.Nhra would have to have a pice of that. the little assn . around welcome all the help they can get.

#1 qualifier and setting a record should garner at least points (and a tear down per Ed's idea but only after being eliminated). For a performance based class, this could decide the championship.
