A big CONGA-RATS goes out to Danny Jr. again for getting down to 3 cars in S/C at the Carolina Nationals this past weekend. It doesn't seem to matter if it's NHRA or IHRA this young man has been takin down names and kickin *** this year. I'm sure his proud papa is grinnin from ear to ear. Great job Jr, we are all proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike

Thanks Mike, We could almost smell the WALLY. Too much pressure,but still had a great time .Maybe next time !!!!! THANKS Mickey Whaley for the generator loan to charge race car .Motorhome gen took a dump sat 4 am ,man was that tough the rest of the weekend .Plenty HOT !!!!!

Thanks guys! I was trying and sure did want to stick the Moser Engineering/Nitroplate express into the final round. I picked a heck of a round to choke and be late on the tree. Just trying too hard I guess. You'd think after 10 years of doing this, the nerves would be a little more tame! My hats off to Ronnie Clayton for beating me and then finishing the job to bring home his first Wally. He drove his arse off all day and put down a .017 package on me to go to the final.

DW-Hope to be lucky enough to win a Wally myself one of these days...
