Thumbs up Nice move by Doug Foley

When Top Fuel pilot Doug Foley heard that friends of NHRA announcer and cancer survivor Lynn Nickerson were putting a fund together to fulfill Nickerson's lifelong dream to drive a racecar, he took things one step further. Foley runs Doug Foley's Drag Racing School when he's not racing himself and quickly offered Nickerson free tuition in any two-day licensing course at his school.

"I look forward to having Lynn at our school and teaching him how to drive a dragster. After all those years of talking about racing, he's finally going to have a chance to experience the thrill first hand. I promise he won't be disappointed," Foley said.

Foley offers classes at various locations across the country. His next school takes place Nov. 7-8 at zMax Dragway at Concord in Charlotte, N.C. For more information, visit www.DougFoley.com.
