Saw it yesterday and thought the same thing. ......Only problem is the Suits at NHRA are the ones who really need to read it ! ......Altho they'd probably need a real racer to explain it to them. ....Tom

Question Re: John asher on comp plus MUST Read

Most of you don't remember the fuel shortages of the mid Seventies -- but I sure do -- I was selling new Lincolns at the time -- and I can tell you first hand it wasn't nearly as bad as it is today......we're in for it ! ! The only light at the end of the tunnel is the fact that prices are dropping -- but they also did that right before the Great Depression of ' 29 ..............

As I remember, thats right about the time you became a " J's Atlantic City Subs franchisee" . ......People may not buy cars, but they still gotta eat! .......In 30 years with the same dealership, this is the worst I've ever seen it. ........We used to do 60-70 appointments a day. ....Right now I'd be happy to get 10. ....car sales are even worse, Everyone is afraid to buy New right now,and even used sales are way down.........I'm planning on racing a lot next season,I hope I dont have to change my plans !! .........Tom

Good point Tommy -- maybe I should get out of cars and get back into fast food................BTW , since you won't be busy in your shop you'll have plenty of time to race -- that is if you saved you money this year................

Bruce -- I'm starting to hear the whistle blowing..............
