Default Semi-Live from Bradenton

Guys, sorry I cant post live real time results this weekend, but my car did not manke it back from paint to run at Bradenton this weekend, and dont look good for next week at Gainsville either.

Anyway, went to the track on Thursday for the opening day of the first Division 2 race, Got my new Altered certified, While I was there had the pleasure of seeing all the cars making test runs.

The track seemed real fast, saw a T/D car run a 6.19 @ well over 220, a few of the A/FD's made some runs in the low 5's...

Saw a few SS's running fast as well, really gets the heart pumping seeing the high wheels up, almost bumper draging launches.

I unfortunaly am not at the track today, but will be there again tomorow, and will post some pictures and results when i get back home, There were alot of cars there on Thursday and a very long line for tech.

Hopefully soon my car will be done and I will be at the race for the entire weekend, and will post live then.

DRC is here - we're a couple hours behind because the database received from NHRA HQ was gefarkled - the indexer was messed up and you all know the Stock and Super Stock guys can't run without an indexer! Poole and Laurie rebuilt the index database from scratch and we haven't had a hiccup since.

Tim Hebert let the innards of his hemi get outside the engine, from 330 feet on, so that put us further behind. The end result is - only two runs today, but should get two more tomorrow and the weather looks fine.

- Larry

I was wondering that too (the air), as some of the stocker times seem slow from what I would expect. Bradenton is usually really fast, at least for me.

Sunny, high seventies, and humid. Also windy most of the day. First round was delayed until around noon - third round (Saturday's first round) should see better conditions.

Three cars flunked fuel check, two had a previous run. No event DQ, just that run.

Larry: thanks soo much for keeping everyone up to date.

I got home late last night from the track, after helping a friend of mine with his S/G car, he got the first round win, then I took off to Lakeland to help another friend of mine tine his new car, finally got home after midnight. Too long of a day yesterday, I wont be doing that agin anytime soon.

Anyways, While at Bradenton again on Saturday, got to see ome of the best racing, met some of the nicest people. Looking forward to finally getting mine done and out there, at this point it is looking like it will be ready for the Div 2 race at SGMP.
