Talking houston car count

Looks like only 263 cars out of 420 car quota from Comp down to S/ST.Doesn't look too good for Compton and company.

This race is a rain magnet. Still looks like a bad weekend.

I think thats why the SPORTSnationals is so big. Becuase, you don't have to pre-register, you dont have to have any grade points. If you got a car that is legal, show up and race.

Last years race had beautiful weather for all the days of the parking and the race. It was the first time in years but it was good in 2008. The 2007 race was a complete was out for the sportsman categories. Most had to be towed out of the track through the mud a week later. Been there when it rained buckets. Now I just pass it up and it looks like others are doing the same.
My 2 cents

Did you see the entries for the previous races. They're not exactly knocking the doors down to enter.Seems like the list gets down pretty low in grade points, unlike previous years.
My post was for information purposes not criticism.
Big Road, catchy name.Do you sign your checks like that?

Question Re: houston car count

Ed, you have a smiley face and a caustic comment, and you're SHOCKED that some might take your post as some type of sarcastic gloating?? Not that you would ever be accused of that sort of thing!! Pure coincidence.

RIP

Rip (can't remember your name off the top of my head) I only use smirky replys when someone sends one my way.My original post was directed at the bobble heads in Glendora. And I wasn't SHOCKED at the reply. But when I make a post I dont use a cutesy name unlike most of the bashers on Class Racer.
I'm just rolling along singing a song.
Now I remember, your name is Van Winkle,no?Long time no posts.Welcome back.
