East Coast S/SS - MASGA- Assoc Races

Debbie and I loaded up after work yesterday and made the short trip to Maple Grove for today's Stock-SuperStock race -- a great way to tune-up for next weeks Lucas Oil event .Shortly after arriving we were greeted by the racers friend -- that's right -- the "Uncle Buck" show is here .Yes , with Uncle Buck in the house we knew good things were going to happen and we were not disapointed as he later carved a bar-b-qued Steamship Round and a huge ham shank along with fresh corn-on-the-cob --- words can't describe .

The big rains / lighting / winds came and went during the night and this morning there is no rain in sight but chilly at 53 degrees but things are starting to dry out even if its cloudy . Not sure when they will decide if they're going to race today but I'm sure Lex Dudas ( Maple Grove VP ) will wait a few hours before making a decision .It looks to me as they could get today in as the Sun is expected to pop out around 11 this morning .

BTW - Anyone attending today can leave their rigs here for next weeks deal .Now if only I could get my Satalite dish working -- are you listening Marc ?

As promised -- they waited a couple of hours and decided it would be too hard to dry things out in a timely fashion and called it a day . All I can hear is Debbie saying -- "can we go to the Outlets now"? Some days 'ya just gotta give it up ............
